Main Activities

ESRTP's primary activity is to operate a fleet of minibuses which provide various services across the east Surrey area. Other activities are listed under these headings:

Buses 4U

ESRTP operates Buses 4U which is our own community transport service that operates in East Surrey and West Kent. Our fleet of minibuses primarily operate in the following areas;

Mole Valley District Council area

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council area

Tandridge District Council area

Sevenoaks District Council area

Services include:

Timetabled fixed-route services (open to the public)

Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) services (open to the public)

Dial-a-Ride (DAR) services (members only)

Other Bus Services run by ESRTP

North Tandridge Dial-a-Ride & Douglas Brunton Centre Transport

On behalf of Tandridge District Council, ESRTP operates a members-only Dial-a-Ride service for residents living in that part of the Tandridge District Council area north of the Redhill-Tonbridge railway line. The same membership is also open to all Tandridge residents who wish to travel to the Douglas Brunton Centre from anywhere within the District.

Netherne Community Bus

ESRTP provides a minibus and driver to operate a peak shuttle service from the Netherne estate to Coulsdon South station on behalf of Netherne Management Ltd. For information and timetables visit:

Chatterbus C1 & C2: Cobham area

ESRTP provides a minibus and drivers to operate the Chatterbus service between Oxshott - Cobham - Weybridge on behalf of Cobham Community Bus CIC (Community Interest Company). For information and timetables visit:

School & Day Centre Contracts

ESRTP operates various school and day centre contracts on behalf of Surrey County Council

North Tandridge Voluntary Car Scheme

Volunter drivers provide a service to help people whi find it difficult to use public transport. This scehme operates in Tandridge District north of the M25. For details

Wheels 2 Work

For a number of years ESRTP has operated Wheels 2 Work moped loan schemes across Surrey. We currently operate a scheme in Kent, details of which can be reached by clicking the logo:

The scheme in Surrey has now closed, but some mopeds may still be available from time to time.

Tandridge District Council Staff Travel Plan

ESRTP worked closely with colleagues at Tandridge District Council to produce a new Travel Plan leaflet. The leaflet heightens awareness of the TDC Travel Plan and supports it by giving information on "Greener Ways to Work at Tandridge".

In addition to public bus and train services to Oxted, the greener travel options include ESRTP services on Tandridge Buses 4U.
