Booking procedure: Ring helpline to learn number of day's duty officer between 0900-1630. Two to four days notice required (no more than one week)
Charges: Free - donations accepted to care funds
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 0900-1800
Additional information: Transport to health centres, hospitals, day centres (chiropody), dentists. Passengers must be mobile enough to require the minimum of assistance when getting into car

Through centres for retired people
Charges:
Flat fare to nearest centre for retired people
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday to a schedule with regular passenger lists.

Passenger eligibility for this service is assessed by Centre Managers. There are six purpose built and two casual centres in the borough.
Buses can also be used by other groups within the Borough to transport to or from regular clubs etc. Flat charge depending upon bus size.

Charges: Annual member ship £5 plus a fare paid by zones

Up to 3 miles = £1.85
Up to 5 miles = £2.40
Up to 10 miles = £3.90

Flat charge for weekly organised shopping trips

Minibuses also available for whole or half day hire with no set maximum distance, additional charges apply and groups must satisfy small bus permit criteria

Esher Care & Car Service

Eligibility: Elderly or infirm persons without own transport and families with small children without own transport
Areas covered: Esher and local hospitals
Vehicles: Private vehicles owned by volunteer drivers
Booking procedure: Through doctors' or chiropodist surgeries Volunteer telephonist on duty weekdays   
48 hours advance notice needed
Charges: Voluntary contribution of £1 to £4 depending upon the journey
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 1000-1700
Any other details: NO transport to Kingston, St. Peter's, Epsom, private or London hospitals

Molesey Care

East & West Molesey Residents

Private vehicles owned by volunteer drivers
Booking procedure:
By telephone, usually between 9am and 1pm Mon to Fri but times may vary

Voluntary donations
Any other details:
Clients must be residents in Molesey but transport can be further a field e.g. London hospitals on an occasional basis

Transport can be for medical appointments, shopping, pension's collections and other needs

Can also provide help with paperwork, odd jobs, 'sitting' and other practical support for those in need.

Oxshott Care
